Add print server port diagram under win7

  
If your computer has been directly connected to the printer for printing and the printer driver is also installed on your computer, now you want to use the print server to share your printer to the LAN, just change the printer's port to the Standard TCP/IP port. . Here's how:
1. Click Start -- Control Panel -- View Devices and Printers.

2. Find the icon of the printer you installed, right click and click on Printer Properties.

3. Select the port, click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port and click New Port.


4. pop-up window, select Next.

5. Enter the IP address of your print server and click Next.

6. Select Custom and click the Settings button.

The protocol selects LPR, the queue name is lp1, and check the LPR byte count is enabled and click OK.

7. Click the Finish button to complete the configuration.

8. Click the Apply button and select Close to share the printer with the print server. (You must click Apply to take effect)
