Resource Manager is a familiar and commonly used Windows file viewing and management tool. Compared with previous versions of Windows, Win7's resource manager provides richer and more convenient functions, such as efficient search box, library function, flexible address bar, Rich view mode switching, preview panes, etc., can help us easily improve file operation efficiency.
Press the shortcut key "Win+E" to open the Win7 Explorer quickly. The list area on the left side of the Win7 Explorer window contains resources such as favorites, libraries, computers, and networks. If you have a home group, you will have other items such as the home network group.

If you want to view and copy the current file path, just click the left mouse button in the blank space of the address bar to let the address bar display the file path in the traditional way (see the animation below).
Preview Pane
The preview pane of Win7 Explorer allows us to preview the contents of the file directly without opening the file. This feature is especially useful for previewing and finding files such as text, images and videos.
In the Win7 Explorer, click on the top right corner “display preview pane” icon (the red box on the right side of the figure below), and the preview pane will be displayed on the right side of the Explorer. We can also flexibly adjust the size of the preview pane by pulling the dividing line between the file browsing area and the preview pane (the red box in the middle of the figure below).
When the preview pane is opened, Win7 resource management becomes three columns. Click on the file in the middle column, and the preview pane on the right will show the preview of the file content. If you select music and video files, you can also play it directly.
Easy to switch rich view mode
Win7 Explorer provides a very rich view mode, click on the small triangle button shown below to open the view mode menu, select the mode you want from the eight modes Yes. When previewing the image, select “large icon” or “large icon” view mode for easy viewing of large thumbnails, especially convenient and practical.
