Let Win7 Toolbar Reproduce XP Copy Paste Button

  
Windows 7's toolbar does not have the "Copy", "Copy", "Delete" buttons on the Windows XP toolbar, which makes many users feel that it is not very convenient. For this problem, domestic Win7 users are trying to find a solution, but there has been no result. Occasionally, the author saw such a method in a foreign forum, and it feels very good.
Users who are still sticking to Windows XP should not understand the meaning of the author. Please take a look at the two figures below. After comparison, you will understand it easily. Figure 1 and Figure 2:

Figure 1 shows the original situation of the toolbar after Windows 7 installation, and Figure 2 shows the modified situation. Figure 2 is the classic style of Windows XP. Users can use the “Copy”, “Copy” and “Delete” buttons on the toolbar to achieve shortcuts.

If you want to achieve the effect of Figure 2, you have to go through two big steps:
1. First, let the current user get the registry-related items "full control permissions";
2. Modify the values ​​of some items that have been obtained under "Full Control Permissions".

Get full control permissions:
Run the registry editor, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionExplorerFolderTypes, right click on “FolderTypes”, select "Permissions" (see Figure 3).

Small Tip:
When inputting, the two values ​​are separated by a semicolon in English. In addition, due to operations such as permission control and modification of the registry, it is recommended that the user back up the registry partially or completely before modifying it.
