Create a Win7 desktop shortcut One-click to make the computer sleep

Do you know how to put the Win7 computer into hibernation? Perhaps this problem is not difficult for most users. In the Win7 start menu, shutdown, sleep, and hibernation can be easily found. But users who often use the hibernation function will feel that this operation is a bit cumbersome. Can you make hibernation into a desktop shortcut and put it directly on the Win7 desktop? This way, you can simply double-click the desktop icon to make the computer sleep. The answer is certainly yes.
First, right click on the blank space of the desktop and select “New-Shortcut”.

Create a desktop shortcut
Enter "ldll32.exe powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState Hibernate" in the object location field (not including ";" double quotes). Press “Next” to name the shortcut "Sleep".

Enter the shortcut object location
Back to the desktop and right click on the "Hibernate" shortcut, open the "Properties" dialog box, and switch to the "Shortcuts" tab. Position the cursor in the “shortcut"" and press F10 to define a shortcut button for the sleep shortcut.

Defining shortcut keys
After completing the above operations, each time you want to put the computer into hibernation, double-click the “Hibernate” shortcut on the desktop, or press the F10 key on the keyboard. Let the computer sleep quickly.
