Do whatever you want to teach you to modify the Windows 7 login screen

Do you know that you do not need to use third-party software, can you also customize your Windows 7 login screen?

So how do you do it? Let the younger brief introduction.

If your machine is an OEM machine, you may need to use the Registry Editor to find the following code:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows\\CurrentVersion\\ Authentication\\LogonUI\\Background

In this directory you may find a machine name whose value is OEMBackground type REG_DWORD. It is a Boolean type, with 1 being enabled and 0 being disabled. However, this code will not necessarily exist on every machine by default because of your machine.

After confirming the opening, please copy the picture you want to display to the path of %windir%\\system32\\oobe\\info\\backgrounds. As with the above machine code, this directory does not necessarily exist by default. . If you have this directory, you can find the following files:

backgroundDefault.jpg

background768x1280.jpg

background900x1440.jpg

background960x1280.jpg

background1024x1280.jpg

background1280x1024.jpg

background1024x768.jpg

background1280x960.jpg

background1600x1200.jpg

background1440x900.jpg

background1920x1200.jpg

background1280x768.jp

background1360x768.jpg

Change the file name you copied past to the above The file name of the screen resolution, but please note that the file size must be less than 256 kb. And at boot time, your image will be selected according to your screen resolution or scale. If you can't find a suitable file, it will be automatically adjusted with backgroundDefault.jpg.

If your image doesn't appear (for example, the file is too large...), the system will automatically load the default image from imagesres.dll.

Please pay special attention to the fact that since there is a certain risk in modifying the machine code, please be careful, it is best to back up the machine code before the modification!
