Windows7 disk encryption BitLocker technology is cracked

According to foreign media reports, the German Institute of Safety Information Technology (SIT) of the Fraunhofer Association recently announced that they have successfully cracked Microsoft BitLocker disk encryption technology, and even include BitLocker technology based on Trusted Platform Module.

A researcher at the Fraunhofer SIT Institute said that the industry generally believes that trusted platform module devices can guarantee the absolute security of sensitive data, and this cracking experiment will break this traditional concept.

BitLocker is as effective as other disk encryption technologies, it's just as secure as we generally think."

Microsoft Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 systems have built-in BitLocker disk encryption technology that prevents PC theft. Browse the user's sensitive data. If the user's computer is equipped with trusted platform module technology, the security of the computer will be more powerful.
