Step by step to teach you to create a new disk partition in Windows 7

  

In Windows 7, open disk management, mouse click on a disk partition (not recommended to create a new partition from the system disk), select "compress" in the pop-up menu Volume" (Figure 1), the system will pop up a prompt box to inform the user that the system is getting space that can be compressed (Figure 2).

The message in Figure 2 says "Query volume to get available compressed space", in fact, the system is calculating the current partition. Large spaces can be split and let users create new disk partitions.

When the interface shown in Figure 3 appears (that is, the system calculates the size of the space that can be used to build a new partition), click the "Compress" button. Later, you will find that Windows 7 is marked with a new space in green (Figure 4).
