Some of the front and back behind the scenes of Windows 7 Beta

Everyone knows that Microsoft first publicly released Windows 7 in January 2009. But early testers of Windows 7 already knew that the public release of Windows 7 Beta Build 7000 was not satisfactory. Microsoft has been widely criticized for its failure to meet user expectations. It was not until November 11, 2009 that Microsoft officials revealed the reasons for this.

In fact, Microsoft is releasing the Windows 7 Beta version at the request of the public. Microsoft's chief information officer Tony Scott revealed that Microsoft was surprised that the Windows 7 Beta plug-in (bot) is also downloading Windows 7 Build 7000.

Scott said: "Some people download Windows 7 Beta through plug-ins. We didn't expect them to do this. There are a certain number of downloads for Windows 7 Beta. These people get through certain channels. A limited number of parts."

In January of this year, Microsoft announced plans to open Windows 7 Beta downloads within a limited time. On the first day of the Windows 7 Beta open download, the swarming Windows 7 enthusiasts and plug-ins caused Microsoft server downtime. Microsoft therefore had to add more servers.

In order to avoid this situation from happening again, Microsoft has extended the download service of Windows7 Beta Build 7000 indefinitely. Later this year, Microsoft also provided Windows 7 RC Build 7100 downloads "indefinitely". In all, more than 8 million users participated in the Windows 7 test program.
