Reduce program response time and make Windows 7 run faster

Windows users are not unfamiliar with the "program not responding" system prompt. After such a situation, you can only choose to force manual termination, or continue to wait for the program response.

Run the registry, expand to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\ControlPanel\\Desktop, and then right click in the blank space on the right side of the window to create a new "DWORD32-bit value", as shown in Figure 1.

1 Create a new DWORD 32-bit value

Double-click the newly created value and rename it to “WaitToKillAppTimeout” (Figure 2). After 2

renamed "WaitToKillAppTimeout"

Rename, without modifying the system defaults (the same FIG. 2), modify the save exit.

Through the above registry modification, you can shorten the system response time of Windows7, and avoid the problem of system suspended animation and other issues. In fact, "WaitToKillAppTimeout" exists by default in Windows Vista, but I don't know why Microsoft canceled it in Windows 7.

Compared with Windows Vista, Microsoft has cancelled many functions in Windows 7. As for the specific reasons, the author has no way of knowing. But for our average users, as long as it is a function that is easy to operate, it can't be missed.
