Microsoft WinMinware included in Windows 7 reveals more details

It is understood that the MinWin issue, which was controversial because Microsoft did not disclose too much detail, has now been confirmed. Microsoft confirmed that Windows 7 includes MinWin. Windows senior technician Mark Russinovich revealed details about MinWin last week:

MinWin is the core of Windows, but it is different from the core of Windows Server. It is a standalone, bootable, beta mini system that contains some kernel interfaces, but not just the Windows kernel. Some kernel32 implementations are not MinWin. After patching, kernel32 is now the Windows kernel foundation.

Russinovich described MinWin as the lowest-level Windows system and called it "Cutler& rsquo;s NT", meaning that the core operating system was developed by Microsoft senior technician Dave Cutler. The size is approximately 25M and contains executable subsystems, network components, and file system drivers (optional).

In the 28th interview, Russinovich said that MinWin is part of the Windows 7 source tree and has been loaded into the Windows 7 construction tree.

But it's not certain yet, is it released to customers as part of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008, or just as an internal tool for Microsoft developers? Microsoft has now revolutionized it, but has not yet revealed when and where it will be released.
