Microsoft Windows 7 may use a touch interface

Microsoft earlier this month said it will launch a new generation of operating systems after Windows Vista in 2010, internally codenamed "Windows 7". Like Vista, Windows 7 will be divided into a personal version and an enterprise version. Each version is divided into 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

In addition, Microsoft did not disclose more information about Windows 7. In fact, some analysts believe that even Microsoft itself does not know what direction Windows 7 is heading.

As we all know, the two major improvements in Windows Vista are the user interface and search. These two aspects are precisely the two major spaces that Windows 7 needs to continue to improve.

In this regard, Gartner analyst Michael · Silver said: "Like Apple's iPhone, Windows 7 is likely to use a touch screen user interface. ”

In addition to the user interface, Windows 7 needs to be improved in desktop search. Microsoft previously said it would connect desktop search to Windows Server 2008. In this way, users can not only search for local files, but also retrieve content on the server.
