Fish and bear's paw have three ways to use Win7

on the Mac. With the arrival of Windows 7, many users have begun to accept and like this new operating system, and its sales are also rising. However, for users who have always liked Apple computers, how can they have both the stylish design of Apple Computer and the dazzling Windows 7 to achieve both fish and bear's paw?

In fact, there are currently at least three ways to run Windows 7 on a MAC machine. Users who purchase Apple computers do not mean they are far away from the Windows operating system.

As early as 2005, Apple Computer began to manufacture Intel-based Mac systems. This makes it possible for users to run Microsoft's operating system on Apple's hardware system. The use of Windows on Apple computers is a great help for users. After all, users who currently use Microsoft operating systems still have an absolute majority, especially at work. Apple's approach allows users to easily communicate and work with colleagues.

Not long ago, Apple's official website announced at the same time that Microsoft's Windows 7 release, its Intel processor-based Mac machine will support Windows 7, and will be able to run Windows 7 system stably on the Mac in the future. However, Apple products do not pre-install Windows 7 systems.

Of course, Windows 7 systems require users to purchase them themselves. In addition, Apple officially supports only the Windows7 Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate versions.

Apple also announced that users who need to install Windows 7 system need to update to the latest version of BootCamp boot boot software. With BootCamp boot boot software, users can install Windows 7. It runs at the same speed as a PC of the same specification and supports Windows-compatible applications and peripherals. The downside of BootCamp is that when the user restarts the computer, the user needs to make a switch between MacOSX and the Windows operating system.

In addition to running the corresponding version of Windows 7 directly on Intel processor-based MAC machines, desktop virtualization technology supports running Windows on the MAC operating system.

To do this, users can create virtual PCs on MACOSX using two programs, ParallelsDesktop and VMwareFusion. These programs allow Windows to run in the MACOSX window, either in full-screen mode or side-by-side with OSX applications. And ParallelsDesktop and VMwareFusion come with tools that help users migrate older versions of Windows to new Macs, including applications, settings, and more. Users download VMwareFusion3 over a wireless or wired network for $80; Parallels sell for $100, including a similar migration feature, but it needs to be transmitted over a USB cable.

But virtualization also has its drawbacks: one is performance degradation, especially when users play games, and the life of laptop batteries is also affected. In addition, most peripherals work fine on both operating systems, while others do not. Despite this, an Apple computer runs the "Snow Leopard" system and Windows operating systems, and virtualization technology provides a solution for two computing systems to implement two systems.
