The author recently received a lot of friends and colleagues from the past, using the G41 motherboard, installing windows7 blue screen will encounter blue screen phenomenon. The author originally thought it was an individual case or caused by issues such as content compatibility. But they also stressed the fact that the situation only occurs when using the DVI interface, and there is no problem when using the VGA interface. After testing multiple boards, we found that the problem did exist.

●Different phenomenon: VGA is normal, DVI blue screen


According to the feedback from friends, the author takes a colorful C.G41T V24 motherboard on hand as an example. The motherboard supports VGA+DVI. + HDMI three interfaces.

























System. In the test, the VGA interface is installed separately. Everything is normal. When the DVI interface is used alone or the DVI+VGA dual screen is used, a blue screen appears. After installing the system in VGA mode, the screen is switched to the same blue screen as the DVI interface. The blue screen phenomenon occurs when the installer executes to the “Complete Installation” step. When restarting to enter the second phase, it will restart automatically after a while.
