This user must watch the battery with Win7 system command

Notebook users often find some reasonable ways to use and maintain, in order to extend the life of the battery. Old users of WindosXP should remember the Powercfg.exe command. With this command, users can reconfigure the battery usage plan in Group Policy to get the "most reasonable" laptop battery usage. When the Microsoft operating system enters Windows 7, the use of the Powercfg.exe command is no longer so troublesome. Users only need to run the system to see the analysis of the battery usage.

Enter POWERCFG-ENERGY-outputd:\\ in the "Search Programs and Files" menu in the Windows 7 Start menu and press Enter. The system will automatically call the relevant program for analysis (Figure 1).

After the window shown in Figure 1 disappears, go to the root directory of the D drive, you will find such a file, open this file with Notepad or IE, you will See Windows 7 analysis of current system power usage and configuration (Figure 2).

I recommend this book, and users who have installed Windows7 use this method to view the results of the system analysis for you. With such an "analysis included", users can reasonably configure a power scheme that works only for your machine, without having to search for more, perhaps "universal" methods.
