Sky Player officially opened to UK Windows 7 users

Sky Group's online TV service software Skyplayer has been officially opened to Windows 7 users in the UK. UK users can now watch Sky TV's online TV programs through Windows Media Center.

At the beginning of last month, Sky TV opened the TV service on the Xbox360 platform. Users can use the services to watch live TV shows or select on-demand movies/sports on demand. Old Sky TV users only need to pay £5 a month to enjoy the Multiroom or Broadband Unlimited service provided by Sky TV. These two services can receive real-time programs on many TV channels at no extra charge. New users will need to pay £15 a month to enjoy a similar service.

Recently, two more TV channels have been watched in this service. They are the Crime and Investigation TV station and the British European Sports II. The program that can be seen using the Sky player has been increased to 26 Taiwan. The Windows 7 version of Sky Player software supports multi-touch operation. At present, Sky TV and Microsoft are holding tying promotions. Users who purchase Windows 7 can enjoy Sky TV's three-month and half-price concessions. Users who have already purchased Windows 7 can use the Windows Media Center software to log in to the Sky Player page to submit a discount application.
