Win7 system as a wireless router to use the setting method

When setting up the wireless router for the first time, the general steps are to make a physical connection, connect the wireless router's WAN wide area network port to ADSLMODEM, a wireless router's LAN The port is connected to a computer for setting up.

Then set the computer to automatically obtain the IP address, and then enter the settings page with the default management IP of the wireless router. But sometimes there will be such a situation, the computer has obtained the IP address from the wireless router, but can not enter the wireless router's settings page (that is, can not enter 192.168.1.1), repeatedly check the connection between the devices, there is nothing wrong What is the reason for this?

There are several reasons for the failure to enter 192.168.1.1: Reasons for not getting into 192.168.1.1

1: ADSLMODEM has enabled routing function. And the LANIP address is the same as the router's LANIP address. At present, the default LANIP (gateway) of most wireless routers is 192.168.1.1, and many manufacturers who produce ADSLMODEM also use this value as the default LANIP of the product, so that once the two devices are connected together, a loop will occur. The computer can still obtain the IP address from the router. Use the ipconfig command in the DOS command line window to view the obtained IP information, but it cannot ping the wireless router.

2: The proxy settings are enabled for the browser.

Unlike the first case, the router is pinged from the computer at this time, but it is not possible to enter the router settings page. If this description is met, then you should first check the browser's proxy settings, which are often the fault of the proxy: start a browser to open a web page, select Internet Options &rarr in the Tools menu; LAN settings at the bottom right of the Connections tab. , disable the proxy server feature.

Reasons for not getting into 192.168.1.1 3: The computer has installed multiple network cards.

In order to set up the management router, some users will install multiple network cards on their own computers. If the unused network cards are not properly set, the same consequences will occur. Therefore, when setting up the router, In addition to the network card being used, it is best to disable other network cards and enable them after the router is set up.
