Tips for getting Win7 system boot speed less than 30 seconds

  
                                    

Change the system settings to allow Win7 to boot at less than 30 seconds without an SSD solid state drive. How to set it? Change the system settings, in the case of no SSD solid state drive, let Win7 boot speed less than 30 seconds

Step 1: Modify the system registry value, speed up the Windows7 system boot speed.

Note: When changing the registry value, first make a registry value backup!!

Registry path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control /Session Manager/Memory Management/PrefetchParameters/EnablePrefetcher

Steps:

1. Start - Run (enter regedit) - OK or press Enter to open the Registry Editor;

2 In the open Registry Editor window, expand: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control;

3. Expand in the Control expansion item: Session Manager/Memory Management;

4 In the Memory Management expansion item, find: PrefetchParameters, and left click: PrefetchParameters;

5. In the right window corresponding to PrefetchParameters, find: EnablePrefetcher, and double-click twice: EnablePrefetcher; Edit DWORD in the popup (32-bit) value window, change the value data (V) of EnablePrefetcher from “3” to  quo;0”, then click: OK;

6. Back to registration In the table editor window, we can see that the REG_DWORD value of EnablePrefetcher is: “0”, exit the registry editor.

7. Step 2: Modify the system configuration.

Steps: Start - Run (enter msconfig) - OK or Enter to open the system configuration window;

8. In the open system configuration window: (1) Click: Boot, (2 At the timeout (T), change “30” to “3”, (3) Click: Make all boot settings permanent, tick (4) Click: Advanced Options (V)...; Br>

9. If the CPU of our computer is dual-core, then in the Advanced Options window, adjust the number of processors (N) to “2” (Note: adjust according to the number of cores of the processor), Memory (M) is adjusted to the computer installed memory value (my 8G memory, adjusted to 8192), then click: OK;

10, back to the system configuration window, we click: Application - OK; Br>

11, then a window will pop up prompting to restart the computer, we click: restart, restart the computer;

12, my computer after the above settings, restart the computer, boot time For: 27.0 seconds (no SSD hard drive installed).
