How to check if the DNS of Win7 system computer is hijacked?

  

DNS, also known as the Domain Name System, is a distributed database on the Internet that maps domain names and IP addresses to each other. In the process of surfing the Internet, sometimes the DNS is hijacked. This behavior usually occurs without our knowledge. So how do we check whether the DNS of the Win7 system computer is hijacked?

First, how to see if the computer DNS is hijacked

1. Right click on the network icon in the lower right corner of the desktop of the computer, in the pop-up options, click “Open Network and Sharing Center ”, as shown below.

2, in the open network and sharing center, click on the network name that has been connected, then open the network status, and then click "properties" under the network status, as shown below.

Second, how to see if the router DNS is hijacked

1, first open the router login address 192.168.1.1 in the browser (the default address of different brands of routers may also be different), and then use the administrator account login, as shown below;

If the DNS settings are the same as the computer settings, and this is not your own previously set DNS address, then your router DNS is hijacked, as shown below.

If the DNS address of the router has been tampered with, it is recommended to set it immediately. The hook in front of the DNS server will be manually set to be automatically obtained, and the router password will be changed. After the router is completed, the router will be restarted.
