Master share: the secret to solve Win7 startup failure

Although the Win7 system has good stability, we can cause the computer to malfunction if it is operated incorrectly. So in the system, what are the common startup failures we encounter? Now, let's learn the problems related to starting the fault with the master!

Fault 1: MBR fault

Fault performance: similar after booting "press F11 start to system restore" error message

Cause analysis: Many software such as one-click Ghost, in order to achieve the purpose of priority startup, often modify during installation Hard disk MBR, so the corresponding boot menu information will appear when booting, but if such software is defective or incompatible with Win7, it is very easy to cause Win7 to start normally.

Solution: For the repair operation of the hard disk master boot record (MBR), you can easily solve this fault by using the repair tool ——Bootrec.exe that comes with the Win7 installation CD.

Specific steps:

1. Start the computer with the Win7 installation CD. When the CD is booted, press Shift+F10.

2. Bring up the command prompt window and enter the DOS command "bootrec /fixmbr"; (Figure 1)

3. Then press the Enter key and follow the prompts to complete the hard drive master boot The rewrite operation of the record is fine.

Fault 2: Oxc000000e fault

Fault performance: The system cannot log in to the system normally, but directly pops up the Oxc000000e fault prompt shown in Figure 2.

Analysis of the cause: Due to the installation or uninstallation of some special software, it often causes very serious damage to the Win7 bootloader, so Win7 will have an Oxc000000e error when booting, which will prevent the system from starting properly. In this case, pressing the F8 shortcut will not bring up the Win7 advanced boot menu, and of course it will not be able to perform the repair operation in safe mode.

Solution: The following five DOS commands are executed in sequence at the cursor position of the window shown in Figure 1. (Figure 3, C drive is the system disk installed by Win7, the same below):

c :

cd windowssystem32

bcdedit /set {default} osdevice boot

bcdedit /set {default} device boot

bcdedit /set {default} detecthal 1

Tip: If you don't have a Win7 installation CD, you can enter the WinPE environment to execute the above five DOS commands.
