Index record document deletion method exposure

The size of the system disk space is a place that many users care about, so sometimes we will clean up the hard disk by ourselves. For example, if the software or documents are not cleaned up, the index record file can be deleted. However, many people do not know how to delete, let me introduce the method below.

Today, it is unnecessary to delete files. For those who use the search and indexing function of Windows 7 as a daily use, there is no need to slim down.

The search function of Windows 7 becomes extremely powerful because of the index. When indexing, the system will create an index archive in C:\\ProgramData\\Microsoft\\Search\\Data.

If you have no intention of using the search index, or have opened the service, then this archive may take up a lot of space on your system disk.

PS: Since the Eviews software is installed on the small computer, the edb file is opened by default for this program.

If you don't choose to use the search function and plan to shut it down, you can go to

C:\\ProgramData\\Microsoft\\Search\\Data\\Applications\\Windows

Remove Windows .edb file;

C:\\ProgramData\\Microsoft\\Search\\Data\\Applications\\Windows\\Projects\\SystemIndex\\Indexer

Delete the cifiles folder.

This index document is still very important for friends who use this feature. Before and after reinstalling the computer, you can use C:\\ProgramData\\Microsoft\\Search\\Data\\ to perform backup and restore operations to improve the efficiency after reinstalling the computer. For details, please refer to "You Ask Me Answer - How to Transfer Index File in Windows 7" ??

Of course, there are still a lot of system files left in the system. The method is similar. You can see what you need to delete, and then you can share it with others. I hope it will be useful to everyone. .
