If you don't have an optical drive (such as some thin and light business books), or if the optical drive is damaged, can you install a system for your computer?
The answer is yes; it can be installed, and there are more than one method. Here is a brief introduction to one of them: install Windows 7 using a USB flash drive. In the process, we need two conditions: Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool; and Windows 7 ISO file. Steps/Methods
First, we need to download a tool: Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool. Download and install.

double click to open this tool, click Browse to locate Windows ISO file 7, press Next;

Next, the system will prompt you to select the boot media, since Xiao Yi here wanted to build a boot disk U , so I chose USB Device;

select the need to use U-disk, (if there are multiple U disk, you can choose from ready to use the drop-down menu), press Begin copying;
(Note: this At this point, the USB stick used as the boot disk should have at least 4GB of flash memory.)
Now the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool starts to create the boot USB drive, which may take a few minutes. After the U disk is created, connect to the computer and set the first boot item of the BIOS computer to U disk to start the system installation.
