Windows 7 system to retrieve complete physical memory

The author's computer uses the Windows 7 operating system, the actual physical memory has 6GB capacity, and the BIOS correctly displays 6GB of memory. However, the available memory under Windows 7 is only 3.25GB. This may be caused by the Windows 7 system boot process limiting the memory capacity. We can retrieve the full physical memory by the following method.

1. Click the “Start” menu, enter the “Msconfig” command in the search box, open the “System Configuration” window and switch to the “Boot” tab. In the window that appears, click the “Advanced Options” button.

2. In the "Boot Advanced Options" window that pops up, it is found that "Maximum Memory" is set to 0. This should be the problem,

3, directly cancel the "Maximum Memory" check. Select, exit after confirming, restart the system. After rebooting, you will find that the Windows 7 system has finally recognized the full 6GB of physical memory.

By the above method, 6GB of physical memory under Windows7 can only be solved by showing 3.25GB available.
