Windows7 Audio Service is not running solution

  

windows7 appears volume icon shows small red cross, "Audio Service is not running" appears;

Description of the problem: After using Windows7 users enter the system, the lower right corner of the taskbar A red cross is displayed on the volume icon, and the audio service is not running when the mouse points to the volume icon; there are two cases, one is “Audio service is not running” but the computer has sound; the other is “Audio” There is no sound when the service is not running.

Solution:

Preparation: Click on the "Start" menu -> Select "All Programs" -> Open "Manage Tools folder -> Click "Services" -> Find "windows audio" in the service window

Step 1: Right click on the "windows audio" service and select "Properties" - —> Then switch to the “Login” tab – > first set the “Login Options” to “Local System Account”, click “Apply” once – > then re-set the “Login Options” For the "designated account", select the "local service" account below -> click "OK" to exit, restart the computer;

Step 2: If you are using the Windows7 Ultimate system, When the "Audio Service is not running" appears, right click on the "windows audio" service, then select "Restart", restart the background windows audio service to solve the problem;

Step 3: Baidu search " Driver Wizard, download and install the driver wizard, find the "sound card driver" column in the "driver", click "upgrade driver", wait for the download to complete, click "install", and finally restart the computer;

Step 4: Finally, you can also try to click the small volume icon to drag the volume to the maximum, and perhaps solve the problem that the audio service is not running.
