What should I do if the Win7 system fails to add a network printer?

The specific steps are as follows:

1. Open the computer and expand C:/Windows/system32/spool/prtprocs/X64 (the path of the 64-bit operating system), C:/Windows/system32/spool /prtprocs/win32x86 (32-bit path), check if there is a "Winprint.dll" file in the folder, if not, we need to copy the "Winprint.dll" file from the same version of the system;

2. After confirming that there is a "Winprint.dll" file in the system, press “Win+R” call out the operation, enter “regedit” press the Enter key to open the Registry Editor;

3. Expand "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Print /Environments/Windows NT x86/Print Processors" to see if there is a "winprint" option under "Print Processors", if not, in the blank space on the right. Right click, create a new item, rename it to “winprint”;

4. Click on “winprint”, right click on the right side of the window - create a new string, named "ldriv" Er & rdquo;, then double-click to open “driver & rdquo;, modify its numerical data to "winprint.dll".
