Win7 automatic hop role and modification method

Win7 "automatic hop" resolution:

hop: routing. A route is a hop. The transmission process needs to go through multiple networks. Each network device point that is passed through (capable of routing) is called a hop, and the address is its ip. The hop count is the accumulator of how many hops have passed, in order to prevent useless packets from escaping on the Internet. An integer value (range 1 to 9999) that specifies the number of hops required for the route. It is used to select the route that best matches the destination address in the forwarding packet among multiple routes in the routing table. The route selected has the fewest number of hops. The number of hops reflects the number of hops, the speed of the path, path reliability, path throughput, and management attributes.

Auto Hop Action: This feature configures the number of hops for each network interface in the network. This feature is ideal for situations where there are multiple network interfaces of the same speed, for example, when each network interface is assigned a default gateway. In this case, the user may need to manually configure the number of hops on a network interface and then enable the <quo;automatic hop count" function to configure the number of hops on other network interfaces. Use this setting to control which network interface is used first in IP traffic routing.

The steps of the automatic hop modification method are as follows:

1. Enter the network settings of the relevant device, enter the Internet TCP/IP property settings, and then enter the advanced property settings, as shown in the figure above:

2, by default is checked "Automatic hop", do not select it, manually enter "interface hops", the smaller the number entered, the higher the priority, this can Manually control which route is prioritized.
