Change the default save location of files in Windows 7

Windows7 default document, picture, video and music save location is a public folder under the C user "user" folder; because the C drive is the system disk, put it there is not Very safe, if you are accidentally formatted or lost, the results are stimulating. Thus customize a storage location would be a good choice, here are two methods:

Method One:

using the "Library" feature Windows7, this method is the simplest.

you want to save the file to create a new folder; for example, here we create a new folder on the E drive, named "Documents folder."

Press Win + E keys to open the "Explorer." Select "Library" > "Documents" and click "Include: N locations".

in the open library location dialog box, click "Add" button; after

select the "Documents folder," click "Include Folder."

this time, "Documents Folder" has been added to the Library Locations dialog box. Select, then right-click, select "Set as default save location", and then press "OK".

complete! The next time you save a file, the default storage path becomes the "E: Document Folder". Similarly, you can set new default storage locations for music, videos, pictures, and more.

Method Two:

directly modify the file path. Open the "Start" menu and click "User Account" to open your personal folder.

select the "My Documents", right mouse button, select "Properties";

on the "Locations" tab, you are free to modify the storage path bar. For example, here I set the path to "E: Document Folder". (In addition to writing the path directly, you can also press "Move" to browse the selected location) and press "Apply".

Then, a confirmation window will pop up, click "Yes" to continue;

Finally, then click the "OK" button in the image above the "Properties" window.

the same, in this way can the "My Pictures," "My Music," and so modify the path.

Both methods are easy to use, but, relatively speaking, a more simple method or something, you choose it.
