Because the author's work has a close relationship with the education network, the daily work will be maintained for the education metropolitan area network of primary and secondary schools. However, during the actual visit, I found some inconveniences in the use of Windows 7, and finally set up. Solve the above problems, the steps are not exclusive. First, the failure of the initial:

The author served as the network maintenance work for the primary and secondary schools in the district. Because some schools updated their internal network address to ipv6 for the convenience of future upgrade, I often need I visited the relevant site through the ipv6 address. However, I recently found some in-school websites that were able to log in normally, and I have found an inaccessible error message. I have found that these sites are equipped with ipv6 addresses.

Second, thinking about investigation troubleshooting:

The author's own machine is t400 notebook, the installation is genuine Windows 7 ultimate operating system. In order to better locate the root cause of the fault, the author through other machines, In particular, the machine with the xp system installed to access the above site found no problems. It seems that the root cause of the failure lies in the Windows 7 settings.

to find a solution, first from the ipv6 settings, the specific steps are as follows.

Step 1: Right click on the "Network" icon on the desktop and select Properties to go to the Network Sharing
Center and click to enter the local connection.

Step 2: Configure the properties of the local connection, find the internet protocol version 6 (tcp/ipv6) option, and double-click to open a new window for setting. (Figure 1)
