One-click hibernation Create a sleep button on the Windows 7 desktop

  
        As we all know, from Windows XP, Windows no longer provides a sleep button by default, which makes us have to press the Shift key in the window to shut down, so that "standby" becomes "sleep" before it can put it to sleep. Although the "Hibernate" function has been greatly enhanced after Windows Vista and Windows 7, it has become more user-friendly, but it is still a bit cumbersome. The user needs only the sleep function that is completed in two clicks. There are many patches or online. Is to modify the registry method to achieve "one-button sleep", but for many rookies are still too much trouble, a careless machine will crash.

In fact, in Windows 7, we can solve the hibernation problem by setting a shortcut. Here is a simple 3-step help with Windows 7's one-button sleep button.

Step 1: Right click to create a shortcut

Step 2: In the pop-up window, type rundll32.exe powrprof.dll, SetSuspendState Hibernate

Step 3: Click Next, fill in the shortcut name, and fill in the “One-button Sleep” for easy identification.

One-click sleep in the true sense

In order to let everyone realize the one-button sleep in the true sense, we can also set the sleep icon.

Click the sleep icon, right-click Properties, enter the F12 button in the shortcut key option, and then confirm that the save is complete. Press the F12 button at any time to quickly put the computer to sleep.
