After entering the Win7 era, the Win7 system's good user experience, perfect security mechanism, rich system features and beautiful theme desktop made the author deeply impressed, but the lazy person is particularly pleased that Win7's planned tasks are compared. XP system is more powerful and more convenient. Using this tool can make PC more intelligent and make all kinds of "lazy" more convenient.

"Task Scheduler" Launch

The method of launching "Task Scheduler" in Win7 generally uses the following two methods:

Windows interface click to start: Click Start button, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Task Scheduler. Or click the Start button, click Control Panel, click System and Maintenance, click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Task Scheduler.

Search Launch: Click the "Start" button, enter "Task Schedule" in the multi-function search box, find "Task Scheduler" in the search results, click Open.

First, in the "Task Scheduler" interface, click "Operation - Create Basic Task" in the menu.

In the "Trigger" option, select the execution frequency of the shutdown task, choose whether to execute daily, or weekly and single execution, etc. Here we choose weekly, after selecting, click " Next step, then you can see the detailed options for setting the trigger time. Here we can further customize the start date and time of the task execution, and set which days of the week to execute the task, etc. After setting, continue to "Next" .

In the "Operation" option, the Win7 system's scheduled task program allows us to select between launching the program, sending an email, and displaying a message. We select "Startup Program" and continue to click "Next". step".



In the startup program detailed settings, we fill in the "program or script" column with "shutdown", in the "parameters" column, fill in "-s -t 30", after the Win7 system starts the shutdown program, it provides a 30-second countdown, which can also be left here.


After continuing to click “Next”, we can see the details of the current setting task. After confirming the error, click the “Confirm” button to complete the setting of the mission plan.


After setting the task, we can see the “Timed Shutdown” task we just set in the Task Scheduler Settings panel. The details of the task are listed by type below. information. Right-click on "Tasks", you can select the pop-up menu items to perform various management operations on tasks, such as running, ending, disabling, exporting, attributes, deleting, etc., which is very convenient.
