Startup "Setup is preparing for the first use of the computer" solution

Inadvertently found the folder of the WIN7 login interface background image, the coquettish point of a few .exe files under the oobe folder, and then each The boot screen appears with “Installer is preparing for the first use of the computer”, the cup starts. .

STEP1: Registry

“Start →Run”, enter “regedit” in the "Run” dialog box to open the Registry Editor, select “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \\SYSTEM\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\Session Manager” subkey, then find the <quo;BootExecute” key value item in the right window and clear its value, and finally press the “F5” key to refresh the registry.

(The questioner's evaluation of the answer is very clear “ you said it doesn't work, the point is still for you." But I tried it again: really not!)

STEP2 :cmd file

The following is the post content of a website:

HOHO~~LZ is not the user name when you press Ctrl+Shift+F3 and want to use the administrator account directly~ If so, follow this method: First, create a new notebook and copy the following code: CD /D %windir%\\System32\\oobe icacls audit.exe /save auditAcl TAKEOWN /F audit.exe icacls audit.exe /grant Administrators: F DEL audit.exe COPY ..\\svchost.exe audit.exe icacls .\\ /restore auditAcl DEL auditAcl NET USER Administrator /active:yes REAGENTC.EXE /enable /auditmode Then save this text as “SetAdmin.cmd&rdquo ; file, pay attention to the txt suffix changed, do not become SetAdmin.cmd.txt. Then enter the WIN7 desktop, there is a dialog box, cancel, and then double-click SetAdmin.cmd, restart to see the effect

(The effect is no effect: after entering the left side of WIN7 will not have that dialog box, double-click directly. After the cmd file is restarted, it still has no effect =.=)

(↑ Checking the post carefully will reveal that the cause of the problem mentioned in this post is different from my situation!)

STEP3: Disable the windows update service

On a BBS, it's a slap in the world. "Disable the windows update service." (The result is: No! At least my machine won't work)

Someone replied that he used The registry successfully solved the problem:

Open the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE——SYSTEM——Setup——Status Set the right AuditBoot value to 1, restart the computer, the desktop will come out with a dialog box, above There are two drop-down list options, the first one is "to conduct a new Windows experience..; review" is under "Shutdown; restart..", I chose the first item in the first drop-down list, Select Restart below, Then make sure that the color bar that was “prepared for the first time using the computer” after the restart is gone. Back to the desktop, the previously installed application still exists, but the desktop is initialized to the desktop when the system is just installed. Just send some application icons back to the desktop and it's OK, no one application is corrupted.

(The result is: after the computer restarted, there is no dialog box orz___ that makes the subsequent steps feel good??)

STEP4: The bell must also be ringed: oobe file Clip

Going back and forth toss, I suddenly thought: Since it is a problem with oobe, why not go to oobe to take a closer look?

There are 6 .exe files in the oobe directory:

audit.exe msoobe.exe oobeldr.exe Setup.exe setupsqm.exe windeploy.exe

(Prepared One test, the result is OK once: Run setupsqm.exe to restart, the original double-click to solve the problem =. =)
