Modify the registry to speed up the Win7 boot speed, not paying for it

Everyone wants to speed up the computer's boot, so there are all kinds of different, true and false boot acceleration techniques on the Internet. One of the tricks for speeding up the boot speed for Windows 7 is to find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession ManagerMemory ManagementPrefetchParameters in the registry, and then change the default value of the "EnablePrefetcher" primary key on the right from 3 to 0. In fact, this technique is purely a fake technique.

EnablePrefetcher is the system file read-ahead setting. The default is 3 for the system to pre-read Windows system files and applications. All system read-ahead files are stored in the C:wWindowsPrefetch folder with the extension PF, which contains the details of the load file and the load order. Each application will leave the corresponding pre-read file in the Prefetch directory. The prefetch file describes the order in which the modules are loaded when the application or system is started. Changing the value to “0” means turning off the pre-reading file. If the pre-reading function is turned off, the system must re-create the pre-reading file for all running programs. The process of creating the file will increase the system load and reduce the startup speed. Pre-reading may cause the software to start to slow down significantly when you log in to the desktop. After the sound is changed, the startup sound will enter the desktop 3 or 4 seconds after listening to the sound. Therefore, these pseudo-techniques on the Internet really need to be polished.
