Unable to use Win7 ReadyBoost solution

Q: My old computer has a small memory. I optimized it after installing Windows 7 system. However, when I plugged in the USB2.0 flash memory, I found that I can no longer use the ReadyBoost function. What should I do?

A: If ReadyBoost cannot be enabled, it is likely that the optimization software has turned off the Windows 7 Superfetch service. Just restart the Superfetch service to solve the problem that ReadyBoost cannot be enabled. In the search box of the start menu, type "services.msc" and press Enter to open the service, find the Superfetch service, and change its startup type to "Automatic" and change the service status to "Start".

Edit Comment:

If prompted when starting the service, said that it can not be enabled, you can enter "regedit" in the search box of the start menu and press Enter to open the Registry Editor, and then navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Session Manager/Memory Management/PrefetchParameters", change the value of "EnableSuperfetch" on the right side to 3, and then restart the service.
