In Windows 7, many CDs are not recognized and opened. This problem is caused by a function in Windows. Enabling may result in the inability to browse the open disc directory, only the autorun program or the autoplay media file. If it is not available, disable this function to solve the problem. This problem is especially serious for discs you burn yourself. Or the CD-ROM drive does not read the disk, double-click the drive letter prompt: Please insert a CD into the drive"

The solution steps are as follows:

1. Win+R Open the "Run" window, enter Services.msc OK, or click on "Control Panel" - "System and Security" - "Administrative Tools" - "Services", open the local service manager

2. Find the following services:

Shell Hardware Detection (notify for autoplay hardware events)

3. Double-click this service, set the Startup Type to Disabled, and click the Stop button below. >
