Win8 can't open the start menu with Win+X shortcuts?

1. First, return to the traditional desktop location of the Win8 system, find a blank space on the desktop, click the right mouse button, select New - Notepad document in the slide menu.
2. Next, double-click to open the newly created document, and then copy the following code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTlnkfile]
“IsShortcut”=“”< Br>[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOTpiffile]
“IsShortcut”=“”

After completion, click on the file at the top of the window - Save As and save it as a .reg file.
3. After double-clicking the reg file, import it into the registry. After you finish, restart your computer and it will work.
