Windows8 EFI hard drive installation

  
1. First prepare a hard disk partition of about 4G. Select FAT32 file system when formatting. Do not select NTFS because EFI Shell does not support NTFS.

2, then copy the EFI Shell file (if you do not have EFI Shell files, you can download the attachment) and the files in the Windows 8 installation CD image to the root directory of this new zone (as shown) Show)

3, restart the computer, enter the bios settings menu, select "Launch EFI Shell from filesystem device"
4, enter the EFI Shell and enter "lds;fs0:” enter, then enter “dir” Enter, if you see the files and folders that are just the partition, then it is right (may be fs1:, fs2: wait, try one by one)
5, enter in turn “ Cd efi”,“cd boot”,“bootx64.efi”
6. If you see the Windows 8 startup screen, you will be successful. Then you will start to install it like a CD. Note: Please be prepared beforehand. GPT format hard disk, because EFI can only be booted from GPT hard disk (conversion needs to delete all partitions, so please backup the data before conversion to prevent loss)
