Windows 8.1 update failed

  
Symptom:
Update Windows 8.1 failed, prompting different error codes and rolling back to Windows 8. There are several reasons for this problem, but mainly incompatible device drivers and programs.
Solution:
Please check and perform the following steps before upgrading to Windows 8.1:
1. Check the computer compatibility with the Upgrade Assistant
1) Download the upgrade assistant for free, scan your computer, desktop Apply and connect devices to check if they are the latest version of Windows, and the Upgrade Assistant will provide a free compatibility report for your computer.

3) Uninstall the incompatible program of the report before upgrading to Windows 8.1, update the incompatible device driver.
4) You can also view more compatible information in the Compatibility Center or contact the program and device manufacturer.
2. Verify that all device drivers have been updated (and ensure that the computer firmware is up-to-date if available)
1) Look for updates on the computer and device manufacturer's website.
2) Update device drivers via Windows Update or device manufacturer (especially display card, sound card, network, keyboard and mouse drivers)
3. Uninstall anti-virus software and software in question (Note: Even if you uninstall anti-virus software, Windows Defender provided in Windows 8 will protect your computer.)
4. Unplug any unnecessary USB and external devices
