Win8 disables EFS encryption as follows:
1, right click on the blank space on the desktop, pop-up "all applications" under the desktop, left click "all applications".

2. Drag the lower scroll bar to the right or scroll down the mouse wheel to find the &runquo;run” option.
3. Left click on “Run”.


4, the second into the & ldquo; run & rdquo; method. Press the "Windows ";"X” key on the keyboard at the same time, click “Run”.

5. Type secpol.msc, left click “OK”.

6. Double-click "Public Policy", right-click "Encrypt File System" and left click on "Properties".

7. In the "General" tab, set <;Encrypt File System (EFS) File Encryption" set to “not allowed”, left click “OK> ;, disable EFS encryption operation is complete.

Note: Before disabling, be sure to back up the original EFS key and decrypt the encrypted data.
