Update the impact of Windows 8.1 Preview

When the Windows 8.1 preview is released, Windows 8/RT users will receive a Windows Update update reminder. Once you've determined the update, it will trigger a new update in the Windows Store, and you can check out the 8.1 update or choose whether to install it. Once the official version of Windows 8.1 is released /RTM, users who have already installed the preview version will also receive an official version of the upgrade reminder through the Windows Store. Although all data and accounts will be retained, the application will be reinstalled.
Upgrading from the Windows 8.1 preview to the official version
will retain the data and account, but the app will be reinstalled. Which applications need to be reinstalled, depending on whether it is Windows 8 (x86) or Windows RT (ARM) system:
Windows 8 system, testers will need to reinstall Windows Store/Metro style applications and desktop applications;
Windows For RT systems, testers only need to reinstall Windows Store/Metro style apps.
Skip preview, directly update Windows 8.1 official version
Those who choose not to install Windows 8.1 preview directly wait for RTM version, will not re-install the application. All settings, data, and applications are seamlessly migrated, and users can always choose when or whether to upgrade to Windows 8.1/RT 8.1.
