Windows 8 IE10 can not download files solution

After installing Windows 8 from Windows 7 in an upgraded way, I found that I could not download files using IE10. Clicking on the download link IE10 in the webpage has nothing to do.
Then click on the <quo;Tools”——“Download Manager” in the upper right corner of the interface. Then there is no problem in trying to use other functions. It seems that only the related functions of IE10 download are not working properly.
I thought it was a problem caused by security settings, but I didn't use it to see similar settings in the Group Policy Editor. I found out that this was not related to Windows 8 and IE10 itself. The reason is IE10. The Internet temporary folder is missing.
Before moving the IE temporary folder to C:tempTemporary Internet Files, there is no such folder in Windows 8 system, so it caused the problem.

Workaround:
We just need to move the IE temporary folder to an existing folder or create a folder based on the currently specified path.
After completing the above operation, we can restart the IE, you can download the file and open the "Download Manager".
