Using the Y400/Y500 pre-installed Windows 8 system wireless limited access to the Internet problem solution

  
Recently, more friends feedback using Y400/Y500, pre-installed windows 8 system, connected to home router AP, high probability of wireless limited access to the Internet, need to reconnect WIFI after the problem, the network exclamation point icon appears in the lower right corner. As shown below:

After analysis, the wireless network card configured by the user model is Broadcam 4313. This problem can be solved by changing the properties of the wireless network card. The compatibility between the network card and the router and Microsoft's latest window 8 operating system are caused. Such a problem arises, not the hardware failure of the machine. Steps: Step 1: Turn off the automatic power saving option of the wireless network card. Click <;Device Manager", select <;Wireless Network Card Properties", click “Power Management“Allow “Allow Computer to Close The device saves power & rdquo; option hook is removed, as shown below:

Step 2: Enable "Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Compatible" Enhanced Network Compatibility Right click on the connected AP signal, select “ View Connection Properties "Click “Security"“Advanced Settings> Check "Enable Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) Compatible" as shown below. If this option is not available, it is recommended to encrypt the wireless router. Change to AES encryption mode:

Step 3: Roll back the driver of the wireless network card to select “Device Manager”, right click and select “Wireless Network Card Properties”, click “Driver” to select “ Rollback driver & rdquo;, as shown below:
