How to disable Windows 8 screen touch keyboard

Unless I don't need it or don't want to see it. I have a Lenovo X1 Carbon Touch and it already has a keyboard. I never wanted to use the Windows 8 touch keyboard. Unfortunately there is no checkbox or “ just turn it off “ the way to disable the keyboard to choose from.
However, you can still disable it by stopping the service that controls it.
Press Winows+W
Enter“services”, and press Enter to go down to “Touch screen keyboard and handwriting panel”
You can right click to select “Stop” or double click “Automatic” changed to “Manual”.
This will definitely disable both the touch keyboard and the handwriting service, so you will lose the handwriting recognition feature. This is great for me, it makes my touch screen notebook experience better, especially when I use a full screen browser. Hope this helps!
Please note that if you have a touch-only device or a detachable keyboard and no on-screen keyboard, you will find it difficult, so if you are in trouble, have your mouse ready and Plan to reopen this service.
