I. Preparations

Second, open the Windows8 mail application
First in the Windows8 start desktop, find and click the Windows8 mail application tile.
When you first enter the Windows 8 Mail application, you will be prompted to "Add Microsoft Account", enter the registered Microsoft account and password, and then click "Save".
According to the network situation, wait a moment to enter the Windows8 mail application. The initial screen is the mailbox of the Microsoft account.
Third, add other accounts
Windows 8 mail application provides Exchange Activesync (EAS), IMAP and POP three types of accounts in the list, but in fact POP accounts can not be successfully added.
So we first need to confirm whether we support EAS account or IMAP account in the help information of the mail service provider.
Exchange Activesync (EAS) is Microsoft's mail synchronization protocol that delivers emails quickly and efficiently, and supports mail, contacts, and calendar synchronization.
IMAP is a mail-only protocol. Compared with the POP protocol, it can download the content of the mail to the local area, and can directly control the mailbox.
The two types of accounts are added in the same way. First, you need to move the mouse to the upper right or lower right corner. Click on the side button and click “Settings” and then click “Accounts”.
Then in the "Accounts" list, the accounts that have been added are displayed, click “Add Account”.
Preset "Hotmail", " Outlook" and "Google"", under "Other Accounts", the account types that other apps installed by the user can be associated with. For example, "QQ", "163 mailbox" and so on.
Select "Other accounts" here, of course, you can also use the account type that has been preset.
Select an EAS account or an IMAP account.
It should be noted that most of the domestic mails have already opened IMAP accounts, and detailed instructions can be found in the mail help. The EAS account is currently used as follows (the latter server URL address):

China Mobile: ex.mail.10086.cn
In addition, Google closed the EAS function of ordinary users in January 2013. It is not clear whether it will be supported again in the future, so it can be Choose another service provider.
The content of the IMAP account needs to be filled out as shown in the figure above. The IMAP and SMTP server addresses are provided by the mail service provider and can be found in the mail help. Of course, after all the checks are correct, click “Connect”. The EAS settings are similar, so I won't go into details.
After the account is added, the Windows 8 Mail application will automatically start syncing the account email.
4. Mail Operation
Clicking the right mouse button on the left mail account name will bring up the menu below. “Sync” refers to updating with the mail server; “fixed to ‘begin & rsquo;” Earth people know what to do; “Mobile” can move this message to a folder ;“Marked as ‘unread’” is also obvious. There are three buttons in the upper right corner, which are to write a message, reply to the message and delete the message.
Clicking the first button will pop up the page for writing emails, which is very intuitive and shows no difficulty. Click the right mouse button and there are common functions for mail.
5. Account modification and deletion
In the process of adding an account until "Add account", you need to click the account you have added.
The account settings will then appear and there will be a button to delete the account at the bottom.
