Hide project settings in Win8 Control Panel

Hide items in Win8 Control Panel. Because it is an older Intel integrated graphics card, you can only use Win7 drivers after installing Win8, but Windows Update automatically updates the drivers. The Intel graphics card setting item of the control panel is invalid. In order to remove the setting item, only the graphics card driver is uninstalled. In fact, it is not necessary to uninstall the driver. We can hide the items in the Windows Control Panel through the local Group Policy Editor.
Open the run window (shortcut Win+R), enter gpedit.msc and click OK, the system will open the local group policy editor, in the local group policy editor window, select user configuration → management template & rarr; control Panel,

Find the specified "Control Panel" item and double-click it to open it,

Select Enabled to enable the feature, then click on the option to display the hidden control panel items. Make settings,

fill in the name of the control panel item you want to hide (right-click the item in the control panel, then select Create Shortcut, copy its name via the shortcut on the desktop),

After the setup is complete, return to the Control Panel and you will see that the hidden Control Panel items are no longer visible in the Control Panel.
