Win8 start screen weather application tips

Win8 as Microsoft's next-generation operating system, the biggest highlight is to replace the original start menu with the start screen, and bundled a variety of Metro applications, weather application is one of them. Once the user logs in to the system, they can see the weather on the start screen. Below, let's take a look at the weather application tips in the win8 start screen.

By default, the weather application in the start screen is showing the weather in Anaheim, California. After clicking the weather app, you can pop up Add a city, if the user wants to view the local weather, you can enter the city you want to add in the input box, and then select among the displayed candidates.

To add weather in other cities, enter the weather app, right click on the blank space, you can Display the “Home Page”, “Home Page”, “Location”, “World Weather” options, click “Location” to enter the Add Location page.









After entering the location to add a page, click on the plus sign in the figure to add the city, after the addition, you can display the weather conditions of the city. When you right-click on a city, you can choose to “set default location”, “set to start screen”, “delete”, and so on.
