Windows To Go is a new installation method from Windows 8, through which we can create a complete Windows 8 system environment booted from a USB flash drive.
You need to prepare: you need to prepare:

installing Windows To Go requires a separate partition, we use Diskpark for partitioning operations. Run cmd.exe as an administrator to confirm that your USB flash drive is plugged into your computer and successfully recognized. Enter "ldlist;list disk" in the command prompt and press Enter to view your USB device input in the list. Select disk # ” Then enter (# is the serial number of your U disk) select U disk to clear the partition for the current device, enter "clean", enter the input "create partition primary"; create a new partition format partition "type fs = ntfs quick & rdquo; the partition is set active partition, enter & ldquo; active & rdquo; input & ldquo; exit & rdquo; exit diskpart


now open Windows ISO file 8, copy sourceinstall.wim to imagex.exe The same folder.
In the command prompt, enter the imagex.exe folder and type "imagex.exe /apply install.wim 1 x: & rdquo; (replace x as the drive letter of the u disk in the system)
Install After that, enter "ldcd; bcdboot.exe x:windows /sx: /f ALL ” (replace x as the drive letter of the u disk in the system)
If the above steps are successfully completed, congratulations, you have a Windows 8 To Go U disk.
