Windows 8 Secure Boot feature is hacked

Previously we knew that Microsoft will provide built-in malware and virus protection features in the upcoming Windows 8 operating system. One of the features is the inclusion of digital authentication when the system starts loading Windows 8. In theory, this will defeat Any malware that may reside on a Windows 8 PC. But foreign media Ars Technica reported that a security researcher, Peter Kleissner, created a loader called "bootkit" that penetrates Windows 8's secure boot features, goes directly to the operating system kernel, and even gets PC or even encrypted drives. Full access.

So far, Kleinsser has not provided details of the bootkit tool, but will describe and disclose the code at the MalCon conference in Mumbai, India next week.

The Secure Boot feature is penetrated. The problem may be due to a defect in UEFI. Because Windows 8 has not been released, even if he publishes the attack code, it will not harm the public.
