Invalid antitrust agreement Windows 8 will bundle IE10

In the past 10 years, Microsoft has been living in the shadow of an anti-monopoly agreement with the US government, and was forced to allow Windows to "not bundle" Internet Explorer. However, this agreement has expired at the beginning of this year, Microsoft is unceremonious to continue to adopt the bundling strategy, you can see in the previously demonstrated Windows 8 Developer Preview, it is deeply integrated with IE10.

In the Windows 8 Developer Preview, IE10 cannot be uninstalled, and it is unclear whether Microsoft will make any changes in future development. In previous versions of IE, including IE8 and IE9, Microsoft provided users with guidance to help uninstall IE from the system.

In Windows 8, Microsoft provides a way to "disable" and "enable" some of the features, including the browser, which is basically the same as the way to turn it on and off in Windows Server 2008. But "disable" IE10 can't be completely uninstalled from Windows 8. For example, if you change the IE10 default privacy setting to block all cookies, then disable IE10, restart, IE10 seems to disappear completely. But when you enable IE10 again and restart your computer, you will find that all settings before IE10 are still there, not the default settings. This also means that Microsoft did not really remove IE10 from the system, just hide it, including your custom settings.

Disabling or enabling IE from Windows is not something that is available today. Microsoft introduced the service as soon as Windows 7 (pre-installed IE8) was released. However, Microsoft also provided uninstallation of IE8 and IE9. Guide, but in Windows 8, the situation is different.

When asked if I can uninstall IE10 from Windows 8, a Microsoft spokesperson just repeated the official previous statement and did not provide a way to completely uninstall IE10. The spokesperson said in the email: "In addition to the official guide and the content on the IE blog, we don't have any more information about IE10 at the moment. & rdquo;

Windows 8 and IE10 will be officially released in 2012, I believe Microsoft will continue to disclose more news in the future.
