Win8 resolution is too low to run the application software solution

Microsoft's restrictions on Metro applications are at a minimum of 1024× 768 pixels result in Win8 resolution being too low to run applications, Microsoft said it chose the lowest resolution of 1024× 768 is to help developers create applications that fit all screens. It's a benchmark that lets developers make sure navigation, controls, and content fit the screen. The above tips will appear if the screen resolution of the machine does not meet this requirement (including most current 9-10 inch netbooks).

However, by default, the resolution of our machines is adjusted to the highest level, and we can't achieve the above requirements. What should we do?

For the above problems, we can modify the registry to break through the resolution to achieve the effect of running the application.

First, we press the WIN+R key to call up the operation at the same time, input REGEDIT and press Enter to run the registry program;

In the pop-up registry interface, hit F3, in the search target Input: Display1_DownScalingSupported, click to find the next one;

Select the result of the search, double click to change its value from 0 to 1, click OK;

restart the machine, you will find the screen resolution can be Adjust up to 1024x768/1152x864, recommended (images are not too flat, normal desktops look fine).

This way, we can experience the application of WIN8 normally.
