1, in the blank area of ​​the desktop, right click, create a new shortcut

2, in the typed object location box, enter %windir%\\explorer.exe search-ms:< Br>
3. Click Next. The shortcut can be named “Win8.1 One-Click Search”.

4. Of course, we can also change the icon of the shortcut, such as the third-party icon icon, or it can be fixed to the start screen.


5. When you need to search for local files, simply double-click the shortcut to start the Win8 search journey.

Note: This program also supports Win7 and other platforms, only to search for local "library" files, and recommend users to use the library functions that come with the system.
