        There are two cases:

1. If Windows 8 can be launched, select the Metro Control Panel application, click "General" and select "Restore your computer without affecting your files" option to reinstall Windows. While retaining the data, if you select the "Initialize your computer and start over" option, you can restore Windows and delete your data and applications at the same time.

Select Settings

Select More Computer Settings

Select General and select the repair options as needed.

2. If Windows 8 fails to boot, then use the original installation CD to launch, select the language and keyboard, click on “Repair your computer” and select “Troubleshooting”, then you can re-start Install or reset your computer.

Click on the "Advanced" option and you will see the tools or system image files from the previous restore point to recover Windows and an "automatic fix" option to solve common startup problems in Windows.
